COMING FALL 2026!

Meet Dr. Vanessa!

Vanessa Betancourt is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Go Vols!

Vanessa provides compassionate, individualized mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health conditions. She believes in treating the whole person and creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

With a background in psychiatric nursing, crisis stabilization, medical detox, addiction recovery, and community mental health, Vanessa brings a diverse perspective to her work. She takes a collaborative approach to psychiatric care, recognizing that each person’s experiences, circumstances, and goals are important parts of their mental health journey.

Vanessa has a special passion for supporting individuals in recovery and those navigating the emotional challenges of serious illness. Her experience in psychiatric nursing, medical detox, collegiate recovery, and peer support has strengthened her commitment to helping individuals build and maintain their mental wellness. As a cancer survivor herself, Vanessa is also passionate about cancer mental health and psychosocial support, bringing both professional expertise and personal understanding to this important area of care.

At Grove, Vanessa believes mental health care should be personalized, collaborative, and free of judgment. She strives to meet patients where they are and work alongside them to develop evidence-based treatment plans that support their individual goals and overall well-being.

Meet Nurse Noelle!

I have had so many wonderful opportunities to serve this community throughout the years. I have a background in nursing, working with newborns, pediatrics, adults and seniors as a Registered Nurse and health coach.

Over the years, in whatever job or role l'm in, I strive to be a cheerleader and support system to all my clients, meeting people wherever they are in life. My hope is always that I can continue to love and minister to people in this community by being an inclusive, judgement free, safe place wherever I go, regardless of how my roles change.

I know walking into a therapy office can be scary. Please know that I’m not only happy to help answer your questions about appointments or billing, but I also genuinely care about how you are doing. My top priority is to create a sense of safety and belonging for every person I meet. In being one of the first people you encounter at Grove, I strive to set the tone for what we all believe here: You matter, and you deserve to take up space.

Outside of work, you’ll find me writing, reading, dancing, sipping (too much) coffee, enjoying poetry, spending time by the water, and cherishing moments with my son, partner, and three cats.

“The world needs who YOU were made to be.”

Better Care, Together.

Mental health care works best when you feel supported, heard, and part of the process. That’s what Vanessa and Noelle hope to bring to medication management at Grove.

Together, they combine psychiatric expertise with compassionate nursing support to create an experience that feels personal, collaborative, and connected. From your first questions and initial evaluation to ongoing medication management and follow-up care, their goal is to make sure you never feel like just another appointment.

And because medication management is part of the larger Grove community, your care doesn’t have to happen in isolation. When appropriate and with your permission, our medication management and therapy teams can work together to support the whole person.

Thoughtful care. Open communication. A team that knows your name.
