We make sure all our new clients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. During your first visit, you will meet with your counselor one on one in their office to begin the intake process. This process will include gathering information about you, your background, and your goals for therapy. Your counselor will go over all necessary paperwork with you including informed consent (what to expect) and confidentiality (your privacy is always important.) This initial appointment will last approximately 1 hour, and at the end, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule with your new counselor. If you decide for any reason it is not a good fit for you, please let us know and we will work with you to find something that better suits your needs. 

Finding a counselor is a very important and often difficult process. It is important that you not only like your counselor, but that you trust their judgment, knowledge and training. Our goal is to place you with someone who you can feel most comfortable with and who is prepared to meet your individual needs. 

At Grove, we believe counseling is something that should be accessible to all individuals, and we put accessibility at the top of our priority list. Our Therapy Portal allows you to submit appointment requests and message our office 24/7.

At this time, most of our providers are only accepting clients for their waitlists. We are currently only able to schedule intake appointments for clients with Cigna, Aetna, or those who are private pay. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to connecting you with the right support as soon as possible.

We are happy to bill insurance as a courtesy to our clients. Please keep in mind insurance plans can vary, so please make sure we can take your specific one.

Our Facility

After 10 years of saving in our previous location under our former name “Infinite Possibilities Counseling”, we have purchased THE BEST property and completely rebranded! We purchased a 16,000 sq ft building on 3.5 acres of land in the rolling hills of south Cookeville. Our new location was previously a church building, and prior to that it was an old school house. We have given the entire building a full gut job, working nights and weekends for over a year to make it the perfect place for healing. The master plan will include holistic wellness services, a yoga studio, multiple counselor offices, group rooms and so much more! On our land, we have a full playground currently, and will be incorporating walking trails, gardens and outdoor spaces conducive to relaxation and connection with nature. Each counselor is given the freedom to decorate and design their office to their own taste, so each is unique and different. We love live plants, calming scents and comfortable couches. Our belief is that environments matter! Don't you always get the best sleep with fresh sheets and a clean bedroom? It would be very difficult to become comfortable enough in stale or cluttered environment to break down barriers and do the deep work needed to flourish and thrive. We strive to provide an atmosphere that we love being in everyday and that you will enjoy being a part of!
