Counselor Intern

Hello friend, my name is Haley Russell, and my pronouns are She, her, hers! 

I am a second-year clinical mental health counseling student at Tennessee Technological University, and I am so excited to be a part of the Grove Healing Collective team! I completed my bachelor's degree in Sociology, with a minor in psychology, and a concentration in social work in December of 2024.

I am a lover of all people and nature, and I believe that everyone deserves to be who they are and to have light in their lives. 

I value growth, honesty, and authenticity. Change is the only constant in our lives, and with that can come growth. I strive to be my true self in all areas of chaos in the world, and I ensure that I am open to learning so I do not limit myself or others. 

I look to bring a person-centered approach to our sessions. With our time together, we will look to heal and grow. We, as people, do not need fixing, just the proper conditions to be as we are in a world that doesn’t often feel so welcoming. I look to create a space where you can feel safe, comfortable, and confident.
