Addiction
Addiction and substance abuse can be extremely difficult to overcome. Addiction and addictive behaviors can be seen in drug and alcohol abuse, sex, gambling, tobacco, caffeine, sugar, gaming, social media, and many more. Treating addiction means treating the whole person, past, present and future. Our focus when treating this disease is to help you create positive systems and supports to begin the deep work needed to overcome self destructive behaviors. Addiction is both a chemical and behavioral issue, and needs to be treated with the utmost respect for the person behind the behaviors. For clients who have completed a rehabilitation program and need continued outpatient work, our focus is on continuing the work you have already begun in your treatment process and expanding on your goals and deep work. For clients who are looking to begin their recovery process, we can help identify the most appropriate level of care. Each client will be different in both their needs, goals, and behaviors, so each treatment protocol will be tailored to fit YOU.
"Every form of addiction is bad, no matter whether the narcotic be alcohol, morphine, or idealism."- Carl Jung
